Memory Stick

If you are working outside of an operating system provided by our company, you should ONLY be saving personally identifiable information onto the encrypted memory stick we provide you.

Below are some instructions about this InnoPlus memory stick.
1. How to set a password
①　Press key button for 5 seconds until both red and green lights are on;
②　Enter your new password; (You have to finish entering the password before the lights are off. Password has to be 6 digits at least, and your password can not be all consecutive numbers, like 123456.)
③　Press key button shortly, then both the red and green lights will flash twice. (You need to start entering the password before the lights are off.)
④　Enter the password again; (You have to start entering the password before the lights are off.)
⑤　Press key button shortly again. If the password set successfully, the green light will flash 10 times and ring thrice.

2. How to operate after set a password
①　Press key button shortly, you will see the green light and the red light are flashing together; (If the green light and red light are flashing one by one, it means the flash drive does not have a password.)
②　Enter the correct password; (You need to finish entering the password before the lights are off.)
③　Press key button shortly. If the green light flashes and there is a thrice “ding” sound, then the flash drive is under unlock status, and you can check the files in the flash drive. (Red light flashes means wrong password entered, please press key twice to re-enter the correct password.)

NOTE: After entering the correct password, the green light will flash for 30 seconds, you need to plug it into the computer in 30 seconds, or the flash drive will auto lock, and you need to enter the password again to unlock it.

To change the passcode:
1. Press key button shortly, enter your original password, then the green light will flash for 30 seconds. (You need to start the next step while the green light is flashing.)
2. Press key button for 5 seconds until both red and green lights are on;
3. Enter your new password;
4. Press key button shortly, and enter the password again;
5. Press key button shortly again. If the password changed successfully, the green light will flash 10 times and ring thrice.

When using your memory stick, you must set your download in your browser to be your memory stick. This will make so all sensitive data goes to the memory stick and not to your machine’s hard drive.

This can be done, for example, in Microsoft Edge or Chrome by going to Settings->Download and then clicking the change button on the row that says “Location”. Then select the drive of your memory stick.
